It didn’t come as fresh as I expected. The crust wasn’t crunchy even after a long toast time. I thought the bread would come frozen so I could rebake it like your description suggested. Instead it came fully baked. Thanks!

I was visiting Schenectady NY. On June 28th I went to a farmer's market in downtown Schenectady where I purchased two 1-pound loaves of sliced sourdough bread. I inquired as to whether the company shipped their products and was provided with a QR code to the website. I was very happy with the sliced loaves I purchased at the farmer's market as it is very difficult to find real sourdough bread and the bread was very good. However, I recently purchased 2 full loaves from the website, but when it arrived, it had begun to mold. I was able to salvage 1 loaf by cutting out the side of the loaf where there was mold. The rest of the loaf was fine. However, I had to throw out the second loaf because it had mold growing on most of the crust surface and the mold had spread into the inner part of the loaf. Initially, I received an email stating the order would be delivered to my home on a Thursday, but it did not arrive until the following Monday. When it arrived, the box was crushed on one corner and partially open. While I am still impressed with the quality of the bread, I don't know if I will place an order again to be shipped.
